Sergey  Svetlakov,  born  in  1961,  Russia.   Studied   stage  design  and costume  at Theater Academy of Saint-Petersburg in 1981-86. 
Afterwards,  for  a  few  years  worked  with  several   Russian  theaters as a designer of drama and opera plays,  among  their  number  was the costume author  in  Adisson  Denisov's  "The  Foam  Of  Days"  (Opera  and Ballet Theater of Perm, the first staging in Russia). 
In 1991  Russian  television  shoots  a  half   hour   film  on  Svetlakov's  creative work. 
At  the  same  time  Sergey  Svetlakov practices painting, black and white art and porcelain dolls historical costumes and haute couture fantasy.
At present,  generally  occupies  himself  with black and white art -  Male Nude drawing series. 
In   his    drawings  the  artist  joins  together  realistic method  precision  and psychologism with neo-classicism harmony.
